Design of the 2023 Cook Islands Bounty Coin

The front of the coin features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, with the year of minting located below. The worlds 'Elizabeth II' are inscribed on the left side of the coin, and 'Cook Islands' is inscribed on the right hand side. The backgrounds of the the coin has a repeating triangular pattern.

The reverse of the coin features an image of the HMS Bounty. The inspiration for the design of the coin comes from the famous novel 'Mutiny on the Bounty'. The coin's face value of 1 Cook Islands Dollar is located below the image. At the bottom is the coin's weight, purity and metal type. These coins are 9999 fine investment grade silver bullion coins, and are some of the purest silver bullion coins available today.
