Design of the 2023 Silver Kookaburra Coins
The Silver Kookaburra coins feature an image on Queen Elizabeth II on the front, and the reverse side of the coin features an image of a Kookaburra. However, the design of the Kookaburra is updated annually. For this reason, these coins are often purchased by collectors.
Each coin features a portrait image of Queen Elizabeth II on the front, with the words 'Elizabeth II', and 'Australia' on the top. The coin's face value of $1 AUD is located at the bottom of the front of the coin.
On the reverse side of the coin is an image of two Kookaburras standing on twigs and looking at each other. The Kookaburra is the official bird of Australia. At the top of the coins is inscribed '2023 1 oz 9999 silver'. In large letters on the right side of the coin the word 'Kookaburra' is written. These coins are 1 Troy Ounce. Larger sizes of the Kookaburra are also available including a 1 Kilogram silver coin. These coins are 9999 fine, making them some of the purest silver coins available to investors today.
