Design of the Perth Mint 10 Oz Gold Rabbit Coin
The Perth Mint gold Lunar Rabbit coin features a portrait image of Queen Elizabeth II on the front. The words 'Elizabeth II' and 'Australia' are inscribed at the top. At the bottom of the coin are its purity, size, and face value. These coins have a purity of 9999, making them investment grade 24 karat bullion coins. Each 10 Ounce gold coin has a face value of 1000 Australian Dollars. Due to the passing of Her Majesty, this is last year that the coins will feature Queen Elizabeth II on the front. In 2024, Perth Mint bullion coins are due to replace the image with a new portrate of King Charles III.
The reverse side of the coin features an image of a Rabbit jumping in a field. The word 'Rabbit' is inscribed on the coin in both English and Chinese, as well as the year of minting - 2023.
